Common questions
Answers without the small print.
Clear limits, transparent pricing, and privacy by default.
How accurate is Genutext’s AI detector?
No AI detector is 100% accurate. Genutext is designed to surface patterns for review, and publishes the thresholds and limitations that help you interpret the score.
Can an AI detector prove that a student used ChatGPT?
No. A detector cannot prove authorship or misconduct. Use the result alongside drafts, sources, course policy, and a fair conversation.
What can cause a false positive?
Formulaic writing, short passages, non-native English, and heavily edited text can all affect a result. Longer samples and human context lead to better decisions.
Is my text stored or used to train models?
No. Text submitted for analysis is processed for the report and discarded. It is not stored or used to train models.
What is the difference between standard and extended scans?
A standard credit covers up to 3,000 words. An extended credit covers up to 8,000 words. Both support AI detection, optional plagiarism checking, and an emailed report. The pricing page shows supported local currencies.
Do credits expire?
No. Buy credits when you need them and use them whenever you are ready.
